Kimberly M. Armstrong is a "Dynamic “Inspirational Speaker, Co-Author of 3 "Must Read" anthologies while using her talents as the Senior Consultant at Diamond Development Consulting & Training Services; a Consulting and Training Firm which provides services to families, professionals, community-involved individuals, and non-profit organizations.   

 

She offers Training, Stress & Anger Management, Youth Development and Leadership Training, Cultural Diversity, and Customer Service along with other life-enhancement skills. Ms. Armstrong is also the Founder of United Parents of Incarcerated Children & Youth, program which provides technical assistance training to organizations, parents, caregivers and professionals throughout the country.

 

Ms. Armstrong has received educational certificates from the Professional Woman’s Network and the Women's Entrepreneurs of Baltimore (W.E.B), for the successful completion of their programs. She continues to fight injustice and helping youth and families help themselves through education and empowerment. 

 

Ms. Armstrong suffered a tragic loss in September 2004 when her young son was murdered. This has led her to embark on another journey as an author and speaker. She is one of 25 women who co-authored three books. 

Accomplishments

 

In December 2004, Ms. Armstrong received the 2004-05

Pollin Award from the Washington Wizards for Outstanding Dedication to the Community.

 

In 2007 she was honored by the National Juvenile Justice Network and the Campaign for Youth Justice with The National Mother of Distinction Award.

 

In May 2008 she was honored as one of “Baltimore Top Neighborhood Mom’s” by Stephanie Rawlings Blake, President of Baltimore’s City Council now Mayor.

 

In February of 2008 Ms. Armstrong was appointed by Governor Martin O’Mally to the Governor’s Office of Children State Coordinating Council and Strategic Planning Council.

 

And In 2010 she received the “Above and Beyond” Award from Morgan State University.

 

She is also featured in “Live Young Blood” a documentary on urban youth violence. (2013)
